Ivan Gruhl*, CFA
Vice President & Fixed Income Strategist
Ivan Gruhl is our Vice President, Fixed Income Strategist. He is responsible for developing strategic partnerships and helping construct and manage bond and income portfolios and strategies.
Ivan holds Series 7 and 63 Securities Licenses and is a Registered Representative with ProEquities, Inc. He holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation and serves on the HKFS Investment Committee.
Ivan earned his Bachelor of Business Degree from the Pacific Lutheran University and he earned his Master of Business Administration from Stern School of Business. He coaches youth baseball and basketball teams and also serves on several committees in the community.
Prior to joining HKFS in August 2011, Ivan was Vice President, Client Investment Development at Aviva Investors in Des Moines, Iowa. Ivan also spent over 20 years with Lehman Brothers in New York where he was Senior Vice President in the Fixed Income research area and was in a lead role in developing Lehman Fixed Income Indexes and high level bond/fixed income strategies for large institutional investors.
