As a shareholder and Vice-President, Roy is one of a six member management team that leads Honkamp Krueger Financial Services (HKFS). Roy assists on many strategic issues which continually procures HKFS’ sustained growth. Roy’s responsibilities include management of Honkamp Krueger & Company’s wealth management services where he works with this nationally recognized top 100 CPA firm’s partners and managers to provide comprehensive wealth management services to their tax clients. Roy also serves as a member of the HKFS Management Committee, the Risk Management Committee and the Investment Committee.
Prior to joining HKFS in January 1997, Roy was Vice President and Director of Financial Services with Citizens Financial Services in Munster, Indiana from 1995 - 1997. He also served as an Assistant Vice President of Investments at Dubuque Bank and Trust Company in Dubuque, Iowa from 1990 - 1995. Roy earned his BA degree from Wartburg College in 1985 completed the National Endowment for Financial Education’s, CFP Professional Education Program through the College for Financial Planning in 1995 and earned the Certified Financial Planner™ certification in 1999. He holds the FINRA Series 7, 63, and 24 securities licenses and has life, accident and health insurance licenses.
